The recent Google Penguin & Panda algorithm updates saw a huge number of websites lose their good rankings in the search results.
This can obviously be devastating to business, if suddenly your 50,000 visitors per month goes down to under 10,000 – and lead capture and sales follow suit as a direct result.
The search engine optimisation (SEO) services side of my business at iBrand Boost has been working hard to stay on top of the changes and what we should all be doing as website owners to comply with the new way Google does its ranking, in order not to be penalised, or to recover rankings if you have been penalised.
We have always taken a very white-hat, natural approach to link-building and on and off-page SEO, so we and our global clients (all in very competitive markets) are staying up in the ranks for the most part.
In this video, I give the consensus of advice regarding anchor text in your link building campaigns. It is vitally important that you follow these guidelines, or else your SEO efforts could do more harm than good.
